The UC Davis Aggies travel on the road to the Mott Athletics Center to take on the Cal Poly Mustangs. UC Davis has won their last three games, the most recent a high scoring 110-98 of CSU Northridge to improve their record on the season to 12-15. Cal Poly has lost their last two games, the most recent going into quad OT losing 105-101 to drop their record on the season to 7-18.

UC Davis comes in averaging 73.9 points per game ranking 108th in scoring offense while shooting an impressive 46.4% from the field ranking 46th in offensive shooting percentage. Leading UC Davis is senior guard Joe Mooney who averages a team-high 13.5 points per game while adding 3.2 rebounds per game while adding 1.4 assists per game. Facilitating the offense is freshman point guard Ezra Manjon who averages a team-high 4.1 assists per game while adding 12.6 points. UC Davis is one of the best three-point shooting teams in the country shooting 39.3% from beyond the arc which ranks 6th in college basketball. 

Cal Poly is struggling on the offensive end this season averaging 68 points per game ranking 272nd in the nation while shooting 42.4% from the field ranking 248th in offensive shooting percentage. The Mustangs are led in scoring by sophomore guard Junior Ballard who averages 13.4 points per game while Ballard averages 3.7 rebounds per game. UC Davis has a very balanced offensive attack with a bunch of players averaging around 7 points.
