Off to a 6-2 start to the season, the UAB Blazers head to St.Louis, to battle the St. Louis Billikens. Despite going 22-7 last season, the Blazers were shut out of postseason play. The Blazers are hoping that a similar season will pay dividends this year.

Jordan Walker is the leading scorer for the Blazers and is averaging 16.6 points per game. Walker is also the Blazers chief distributor and hands out 4.9 assists per contest. Quan Jackson is an additional scoring threat for the Blazers and is averaging 12.4 points per game. Michael Ertel rounds out the double figure scorers for UAB and is averaging 10 points per contest.

Off to a stellar 7-1 start to the year, the St, Louis Billikens play host to the UAB Blazers. After going 14-6 last year, the Billikens made it to the NIT. The Billikens are aiming for a NCAA Tournament bid this year.

Gibson Jimerson has been stellar for the Billikens this year and is averaging 17 points per game while shooting nearly 49% from the field. Marten Linssen is an additional scoring threat for the Billikens and is averaging 11.4 points per game. Francis Okoro is an additional player to watch for St. Louis and is averaging 7.6 points per game and a team high 7.6 rebounds per contest.

This game will be a showdown that could help set the tone of the rest of the season for both of these teams. However, the Billikens are coming here with better offensive players, but only slightly. The defenses for both teams has been impressive on the court as well and that will make for a good battle here. Final Score Prediction, Saint Louis Billikens win, but play on the under 65-60.
