Baylor enters this contest ranked No. 2 in the country but will be playing the second half of a back-to-back after opening the season against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns on Saturday, Baylor finished last season 26-4 overall and 15-3 in the Big 12. The Bears have each of their top three scorers from last year returning including leading scorer Jared Butler, who averaged 16.0 points per game and second leading scorer MaCio Teague who averaged 13.9 points per game. The Bears added three transfers and five freshmen and are expected to be the one to beat in the Big 12. The Baylor backcourt will be one of the most dominating in college basketball with Butler, Teague and Davion Mitchell. Washington was 15-17 overall and 5-13 in the Pac-12 in 2019-20. Last season 56 of the 67 points the Huskies averaged per game were scored by Isaiah Stewart, Jaden McDaniels and Nahziah Carter and all three will not play this season for the Huskies. Richmond Spiders at Kentucky Wildcats: UK - ; Total

The Richmond Spiders were victorious in their opening game of the regular season over Morehead State 82-64 on Friday. Richmond has a talented group of five seniors that all started last season and are led by guard Blake Francis and forward Grant Golden. Nathan Cayo was the leading scorer in Friday's victory with 23 points. The Spiders will play as if in midseason form thanks to such continuity from one season to the next with so many returning players. The scoring offense last season for Richmond averaged 75.3 points per game and the Spiders like to get up and go with the ball. Kentucky also defeated Morehead State in its opening game of the season 81-45. The Wildcats unveiled nearly an entirely new roster on opening night. Brandon Boston Jr. led the group with 15 points but close behind where Terrence Clarke and Devin Askew with 12 points apiece. Ten new faces are on the Kentucky roster including three transfers and seven Freshmen but Kentucky looked strong in its first “live-game” action. The Wildcats never trailed and led by as many as 34 points. Lay the points and take the home chalk on Sunday.
