Top 10 College Football Power Rankings – Week 12
The college football week definitely provided a lot of action this past week. The downside is the week also showed the type of impact that the coronavirus on the day and that could make it very difficult for the teams in this upcoming week.
1 Alabama (6-0) – The Crimson Tide are still sitting in the top spot this week. Their game this past week was postponed, but still the Crimson Tide have showed quite a bit of depth in the roster.
2 Notre Dame (8-0) – The Irish will sit in second place this week. The Irish looked impressive in their win over Clemson and now are one team that could really show quite a bit of improvement on the year.
3 Ohio State (3-0) – The Buckeyes were another team that got to enjoy a week off, but it stems from virus issues for Maryland. Look for Ohio State to continue to play good here this week and that will definitely help the Buckeyes.
4 Clemson (7-1) – Clemson was off this week as well, but the Tigers have to figure out how to play better in this week and bounce back from the loss.
5 Cincinnati (7-0) – The Bearcats were able to completely dominate in their most recent win over Eastern Carolina. Look for Cincinnati to play good to finish out their year and potentially get the college football playoff picture?
6 BYU (8-0) – BYU has not gotten a lot of credit on the year compared to what they have done. Look for the Cougars to continue to play great on the year and without a lot of games left on the year finish out as an unbeaten team.
7 Indiana (4-0) – The Hoosiers are a surprise team and one that a lot of people may think do not belong here. However, the Hoosiers are coming off of a 24-0 drubbing of the Michigan State team.
8 Wisconsin (2-0) – The Badgers cracked the top 10 here and that comes from the dominating performance the Badgers have put on the year so far and it only looks like the Badgers could go up.
9 Marshall (7-0) – The Thundering Herd have been consistent on the year and that may shock a lot of people with how consistent. Look for the Marshall team to enjoy another week off as it is reported this weeks game against Charlotte was called off.
10 Coastal Carolina (7-0) – The Chanticleers are a team that has been able to dominate on the years so far. Look for Coastal Carolina to be able to continue to play at the elevated levels here to finish out the season.
