The Texas Longhorns face the No. 17 ranked Kansas Jayhawks on Thursday at Spring Center in Kansas City, Missouri for a Big 12 conference tournament showdown. Texas lost it final game of the regular season on Saturday falling to the TCU Horned Frogs 69-56 and hurting their chances at an NCAA Tournament bid unless they run the table in the Big 12 tournament to get an automatic berth.

Kansas won its final game of the regular season over Baylor 78-70 on Saturday to remain undefeated on its home court. The Jayhawks were led in the win by Dedric Lawson with 23 points that included 11 of 12 free throws. The Jayhawks completed the regular season 23-8 overall and 12-6 in Big 12 play. Kerwin Roach II leads the Longhorns in scoring with an average of 15.0 points per game. Dylan Osetkowski leads the Longhorns in rebounds with an average of 7.4 per game. Matt Coleman III is the leader in assists with an average of 3.7 per game. Texas is shooting 43.6% from the field and 34.1% from 3-point territory.

Dedric Lawson leads Kansas in scoring and rebounding with averages of 19.1 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. Devon Dotson leads Kansas in assists with an average of 3.5 per game. Kansas is shooting 46.4% from the field and 35.5% from 3-point territory.
