The Texas Tech Red Raiders play the Virginia Cavaliers on Monday April 8 at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the NCAA men’s basketball national championship.

Although many questioned foul call, Guy sank the first two before Auburn called a timeout to make him think about the third and then prompting sank the third to give the Cavaliers the win.
Jarrett Culver leads the Red Raiders in scoring, rebounding and assists with averages of 18.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. Davide Moretti is the second leading scorer with an average of 11.4 points per game. Texas Tech is shooting 47.2% from the field and 36.8% from 3-point territory.

Kyle Guy is leading Virginia in scoring with an average of 15.2 points per game. Ty Jerome is the third leading scorer and leader in assists for Virginia with averages of 13.5 points and 5.4 assists per game. Braxton Key leads in rebounds with an average of 5.1 per game. This national title matchup will be characterized by defense. Two of the top three defensive teams in the nation face off.
