The victory by Coastal Carolina snapped a four-game losing streak for the Chanticleers that included losses to Arkansas State, Appalachian State and two losses to Arkansas Little Rock.

DeVonte Jones is the leading scorer and leader in assists for Coastal Carolina with averages of 16.2 points and 5.5 assists per game while Tommy Burton is the leading rebounder with an average of 7.2 per game. Keishawn Brewton is the second-leading scorer and one of five players for the Chanticleers averaging double-figures in scoring.
