The Syracuse Orange visit Silvio Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts on Wednesday for an ACC showdown with the Boston College Terriers. The Orange fell to 14-6 on the season following a 78-56 loss to Virginia Tech on Saturday. The Orange trailed by 19 points at the half and never got closer than eight points during the second half. Oshae Brissett led the Orange in the loss with 16 points.
The Eagles improved to 11-7 on the season following their 65-61 win over Wake Forest on Saturday. Boston College was led in the victory by Ky Bowman who hit a 3-pointer with two defenders in his face with just 16 seconds remaining to give the Eagles a lead they would not relinquish.
Tyus Battle leads Syracuse in scoring with an average of 17.4 points per game. Two other Orange players are averaging double figures in scoring. Oshae Brissett is the leading rebounder with an average of 7.6 per game. Frank Howard leads the team in assists with an average of 3.6 per game. Syracuse is shooting 42.8% from the field and 32.4% from 3-point territory.
Ky Bowman leads the Eagles in scoring and assists with averages of 20.5 points and 3.6 assists per game. Steffon Mitchell leads BC in rebounding with an average of 7.8 per game. Four players average double figures in scoring for the Eagles. Boston College is shooting 44.2% from the field and 30.3% from 3-point territory.
