The Abilene Christian Wildcats will take on the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks Thursday night in the quarter final of the conference tournament in what could be the best game of the day. Abilene Christian comes into Thursday night after winning four of the last five games played including two in a row following eight point win over Utah Valley in round one of the tournament.
Offensively Abilene Christian shot the ball extremely well making 50.9% of their shots 52.4% from beyond the arc to score 82 points in the game including 45 in the second half to erase a four point halftime deficit. Airion Simmons led the way with 19 points on 7 of 12 shooting in 25 minutes on the floor. Tobias Cameron added 17 points on six of 10 shooting and Cameron Steele chipped in 13 points to lead the way in 23 minutes off the bench.
