The Stanford Cardinal travel to Seattle, WA on Thursday for a game against the Washington Huskies in a matchup of teams from the PAC-12 Conference.  In their last game, the Cardinal were defeated by the Arizona Wildcats by the score of 69-60.  Bryce Willis led the Cardinal in points in the game with 25 while shooting 10 of 13 from the field and 5 of 7 from the free throw line.  Willis also led Stanford in rebounds in the game with 5, all coming on the defensive boards.  Daejon Davis led the Cardinal in assists on the night with 2 while playing 35 minutes against Arizona.

After the loss against Arizona, Stanford is 16-9 on the season and 5-7 in conference play, which places them in 7th place in the PAC-12.  Oscar da Silva has been the leading scorer on the year for Stanford as he has scored 15.9 points per game this season while shooting 59% from the field and 77.6% from the free throw line.  Da Silva also leads the Cardinal in rebounding as he has recorded 6.3 rebounds per game.  Stanford is led in assists by Daejon Davis who has averaged 3.5 assists per game so far this year.

The Washington Huskies welcome the Stanford Cardinal to town on Thursday after losing their last game against UCLA by the score of 67-57.  Isaiah Stewart led the Huskies in scoring in the game as he recorded 15 points while shooting 5 of 6 from the field and 5 of 7 from the free throw line.  Stewart also led Washington in rebounds on the night with 10, including 4 coming offensively.  Marcus Tsohonis led the Huskies in assists with 3 while playing a total of 14 minutes in the game.

The loss against UCLA dropped Washington’s record to 12-14 on the season and 2-11 in conference play which is good enough for 12th in the PAC-12 Conference.  Isaiah Stewart has led the Huskies in scoring this season as he has averaged 17.1 points per game.  Stewart has also been Washington’s leading rebounder on the year as he has averaged 8.8 per game.  Jaden McDaniels has been the assists leader so far this year for the Huskies as he has averaged 2.1 assists per game.

The Stanford Cardinal have averaged 70 points per game this season while allowing 61.7 points per game.  The Washington Huskies have scored 69.4 points per game on the year while allowing 65.4 points per game.  In their last 5 games, the Cardinal are 1-4 and have lost 4 games in a row while the Huskies are 0-5 and have lost 8 games in a row.  This will be the second time these teams meet this season, in their first matchup, Stanford came away with the victory, 61-55.  Neither team has played well as of late but with Stanford having better numbers in the points scored and points against per game, this should be a game that gets the Cardinal back on track.  Final score prediction, Stanford Cardinal wins and covers ATS 63-55.
