St Bonaventure vs Xavier 3/29/22 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies will travel to Madison Square Garden Monday night to take on the Xavier Musketeers in the NIT tournament semifinals. St. Bonaventure has won four of the last five games played including three in a row following a 52-51 win over Virginia last game out. Defensively St. Bonaventure played well holding Virginia to 37.7% shooting in 26.3% from beyond the arc, while forcing nine turnovers leading to the victory.

The Bonnies relied on a balanced scoring attack as three different starters posted 10 points in the game. Kyle Lofton and Jalen Adaway chipped in nine points each to round out the starters scoring attack. Abdoul Coulibaly chipped in the only four points of the game for the St. Bonaventure reserves.

The Xavier Musketeers come into the tournament semifinal running hot on a 3 game win streak after a two point win over Vanderbilt. Xavier beat Vanderbilt 75-73 after shooting 52.9% from the floor in 35.7% from beyond the arc.

Colby Jones led the way for the Xavier starters with 15 points and eight rebounds on six of nine shooting in 35 minutes. Adam Kunkel Added 14 points and Zach Freemantle both today team high 16 points in 26 minutes off the bench.

Both teams come into this game running hot as of late and will look to continue to roll on Monday in the NIT semifinals. Xavier has the better offense and the slightly deeper team that will be the difference in this game. Take Xavier to do enough in Madison Square Garden to cover the small number and get the underdog win. Final Score Predictoin, Xavier wins and covers 71-67.
