The Southern Illinois Salukis visit Alumni Arena in Buffalo, New York on Saturday to face the No. 14 ranked Buffalo Bulls. The Salukis fell to 7-4 on the season following an 80-52 loss to Murray State. Southern Illinois trailed at the half 49-18 and never threatened the Racers. Eric McGill led the Salukis with 19 points and nine rebounds in the loss.
Buffalo improved to 9-0 on the season with an 80-62 win over St. Bonaventure. The Bulls were led by Jayvon Graves with 19 points with 15 coming via 5 3-pointers. Jeremy Harris added 18 points, while team high scorer CJ Massinburg chipped in with 14 points and nine rebounds.
Armon Fletcher leads the Salukis in scoring and rebounding with averages of 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Four other players are averaging double figures in scoring.
