The Southern Jaguars visit Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday to play the Marquette Golden Eagles. The Jaguars fell to 1-11 on the season following a 79-76 loss to California Baptist last Wednesday. In the loss, Aaron Ray led the Jaguars with 21 points, while Richard Lee, who missed a three-pointer at the buzzer to tie, scored 18. Southern has now lost five straight.
Marquette improved to 10-2 with a 103-85 win over Buffalo. The Golden Eagles were led in the win by Markus Howard who scored 45 points with 40 scored during the second half. Marquette has now won seven straight games after losing to No. 1 ranked Kansas.
