The SEC is one conference that has a lot of power packed teams, but also a conference that has a big turnover when it comes to the players leaving for the NBA. Well, the turnover is not really making that big of an impact for the teams either as they have been able to pull out quite a few wins on the year and are actually looking really good in how they have rebuilt.

Tennessee Volunteers ( 17-14 Last Year )

The Volunteers have a ton of talent on their roster and a viable scoring position in almost any of the positions. Now, with all the talent will come the problem for the Tennessee team is not all of the players on the roster will get enough playing time.

LSU Tigers ( 21-10 Last Year )

LSU could really come into being a viable threat if they are able to finally have their defense to show up on the year. The offense for LSU is one that has been able to play great on the year last year and should not slack off.

Kentucky Wildcats ( 25-6 Last Year )

The Wildcats are coming to the season with a question on depth and experience with almost everyone talented leaving. However, one thing that Kentucky did was bring home one of the best recruit classes in the nation.

Florida Gators ( 19-12 Last Year )

Florida is another one of the SEC teams that has to build up their defense which slipped some last year. Now, the other thing that the Florida team has going for them is the fact that their offense should be able to continue to play good.

Arkansas Razorbacks ( 20-12 Last Year )

Arkansas is one team that could come to the season here with a good run, but it depends on how quickly Moses Moody can develop and adapt to the faster play and pace of the SEC.

Auburn Tigers ( 25-6 Last Year )

Is this a year for Auburn to rebuild? That is a question after losing 5 seniors from last year’s team, but also in getting a top recruit class to come in this year.

Alabama Crimson Tide (16-15 Last Year )

The Crimson Tide have faced a lot of challenges and now have to figure out how to clear out the box to be a success. The good news is the offense with the strong perimeter shooting will look good and strong in the games.

Missouri Tigers ( 15-16 Last Year )

Missouri could be a failing team here as they only have  few returners from the team last year and are unable to shoot. Now, the good news is, some of the other SEC teams look even worse on the year.

Texas A&M Aggies ( 16-14 Last Year )

The Aggies are one team that will come to the season with a defensive minded coach who is able to inspire his players. Now, that is good that the defense will play good, but the offense and the overall talent is missing for the Aggies.

South Carolina Gamecocks ( 18-13 Last Year )

Jair Bolden left the Gamecocks and that definitely will create an issue for guiding the team. To help counter that loss the South Carolina team is bringing back A.J. Lawson is coming back to the court.

Ole Miss Rebels ( 15-17 Last Year )

Ole Miss is coming to the season with quite  a few good transfers on the roster. The downside is those transfers will be playing together for the first time in a long time.

Mississippi State Bulldogs ( 20-11 Last Year )

The Bulldogs have a positive and a negative on both of the same scales. That is the fact that the Bulldogs have a good group of freshmen coming in, but the bad news is most of the team is the younger players.

Georgia Bulldogs ( 16-16 Last Year )

Repeat after me Georgia is a football school and is missing one of their biggest playmakers in this game. The one bit of good news is Sahvir Wheeler is coming back this year.

Vanderbilt Commodores ( 11-21 Last Year )

The Commodores could play good this year if Scotty Pippen Jr. is given a chance to play. The problem is Pippen is missing a lot of the talent that could help make him a better player and draw in some of the scouts.
