Seattle at UCLA 12/3/20 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 12/02/2020 at 10:48 PM ET

Beautiful Pauley Pavilion will play host to a Thursday night college basketball meeting between the Seattle U Redhawks and the UCLA Bruins. On Monday, Seattle U trailed by 11 points at halftime and could never recover during a 76-65 home loss versus CSU Northridge. The Redhawks (3-1) missed 22 of their 29 three-point attempts and shot just 37 percent overall.

Darrion Trammell poured in a game-high 25 points on 8-for-17 shooting in 35 minutes off the Seattle U bench. Riley Grigsby added 18 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Redhawks.

The UCLA Bruins have split their first two games and have things trending in the right direction for second year head coach Mick Cronin. Last time out, UCLA needed three overtimes to prevail with a 107-98 victory versus Pepperdine. The Bruins turned the ball over just ten times and shot 36-for-82 from the field.

All five UCLA starters scored in double figures and were led by Chris Smith with 26 points. Tyger Campbell contributed 22 points, seven assists, and six rebounds for the Bruins.

Last season, Seattle ranked 208th in defensive efficiency and UCLA ranked 191st in that category. My lean on the total is the over, but taking the points with the Redhawks is the recommended play. Final Score Prediction, UCLA Bruins win but fall short ATS 78-65.
