San Jose State at New Mexico 1/21/21 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

Dreamstyle Arena will play host to a Thursday afternoon college basketball clash between the San Jose State Spartans and the New Mexico Lobos. The Spartans (2-10) are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and are surrendering 86.2 points on average. On Saturday, San Jose State allowed Colorado State to shoot 52 percent during an 88-61 home loss. 

Richard Washington and Sebastian Mendoza scored 15 points apiece to lead the Spartans in scoring. San Jose State F Ralph Agee added 12 points and five rebounds.

Like San Jose State, New Mexico is off to an 0-8 start in Mountain West Conference play and is scoring just 63.5 points per contest. On Monday, New Mexico managed just 18 points during the second half of a 53-46 road loss against UNLV. The Lobos (4-8) missed 15 of their 21 three-point attempts and shot just 35 percent overall.

New Mexico G Saquon Singleton tallied a team-high 11 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists. Valdir Manuel added ten points and five rebounds for the Lobos.
