The San Jose State Spartans visit Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nevada on Wednesday to play the No. 10 ranked Nevada Wolf Pack. The Spartans fell to 3-10 on the season following a 73-53 loss to Fresno State last Wednesday. San Jose State trailed by 22 points at the half and did not threaten after the break. Michael Steadman led San Jose State with 18 points and 10 boards.
Nevada lost its first game of the season to fall to 14-1 after being routed by New Mexico 84-68 on Saturday. The Wolf Pack fell in ranking from No. 6 to No. 10 following the loss. Jordan Caroline led Nevada with 17 points. Twins Cody and Caleb Martin combined to shot 4-for-21 for Nevada and scored a combined 17 points.
Michael Steadman leads the Spartans in scoring and rebounding with averages of 13.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Brae Ivey leads the Spartans in assists with 4.2 per game. San Jose State is shooting 41.4% from the field and 33.8% from 3-point territory.
Jordan Caroline is the leader in scoring and the leading rebounder with averages of 18.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Cody Martin leads the Wolf Pack in assists with an average of 5.7 per game. Nevada is shooting 45.3% from the field and 33.4% from 3-point territory.
