On Saturday, the San Francisco Dons visit The Thunderdome in Santa Barbara, California to play the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. The Dons improved to 12-1 on the season with a 75-65 win over Stanford on Saturday. San Francisco was led by Charles Minlend with 19 points and three others scored in double figures in the balanced attack by San Francisco.
Santa Barbara improved to 9-3 on the season with an 84-65 win over Idaho State. Ar’Mond Davis led the Gauchos with 19 points while Devearl Ramsey chipped in with 18. The Gauchos have won three of the last four overall.
Charles Minlend leads the Dons in scoring with an average of 15.0 points per game. Matt McCarthy is the leader in rebounds with an average of 7.2 per game. Frankie Ferrari is the team leader in assists with an average of 6.0 per game. San Francisco is shooting 48.4% from the field and 34.2% from 3-point territory.
