The San Francisco Dons will be in Las Vegas, NV Monday night for a West Coast Conference semifinal matchup against the Gonzaga Bulldogs. San Francisco got to the semifinals following a 75-63 win over BYU after shooting 42.9% from the floor.
Offensively San Francisco was led by Khalil Shabazz who scored a team high 22 points on 7 of 15 shooting in 36 minutes on the floor. Jamaree Bouyea added 18 points in 40 minutes and Gabe Stefanini added ten points as the third player in double figures.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs come into the conference tournament as the number one team in the nation despite losing their last game of the season to Saint Mary's. Offensively Gonzaga had their worst game of the year making only 36.7% of their shots and turned the ball over 14 times leading to the double digit loss.
Offensively this season Gonzaga has been the top team in the nation averaging 88.3 points per game on 52.4% shooting. Drew Timme is the leader of the Gonzaga offense averaging 17.6 points per game on 58.3% shooting. Potential number one overall pick Chet Holmgren is second on the team scoring 14.4 points to go along with a team leading 9.7 rebounds.
