San Diego at Oregon 12/12/18 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The San Diego Toreros visit Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon on Wednesday to play the Oregon Ducks. The Toreros improved to 8-2 on the season with an 82-68 won over CSU Northridge on Sunday. The 8-2 matches San Diego’s best in school history. Alex Floresca led the Toreros with 16 points matching the 16 Isaiah Pineiro scored.

Oregon improved to 5-3 on the season following an 84-61 rout of Omaha on Saturday. The Ducks were led in the 23-point win by Kenny Wooten with 20 points while Bol Bol scored 18 and pulled down 10 boards. The Ducks win snapped a two-game losing streak. Isaiah Pineiro leads San Diego in scoring and rebounding with averages of 20.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Isaiah Wright leads the team in assists with an average of 4.9 per game. Olin Carter III is the second leading scorer for San Diego with an average of 16.4 points per game. San Diego is shooting 47.5% from the field and 36.3% from 3-point territory.

Bol Bol leads Oregon in scoring and rebounding averaging 21.1 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. Payton Pritchard is the second leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 12.8 points and 4.9 assists per game. Oregon is shooting 47.7% from the field and 36.7% from 3-point territory.

San Diego has as solid team this season having defeated the likes of Colorado, San Diego State and Weber State amongst others, while its two losses were to Washington and Ole Miss. Oregon has played well but Payton Pritchard and Bol Bol do not have enough talent surrounding them to take the next step to a upper tier team. Take the Ducks to win at home, but the Toreros to keep it close and cover. Final Score Oregon Ducks win but fall short ATS 76-70.
