Sacramento State Hornets open the Big Sky championship Thursday afternoon against the Montana State Bobcats in Boise, ID. Sacramento State comes into the conference tournament running hot after winning four of the last five games played including a one point win over Montana to end the season. Offensively Sacramento State shot the ball extremely well in the final game of the year making 47.2% of their shots or 50% from beyond the arc leading to the one point win.

The Montana State Bobcats come into the conference tournament after finishing the regular season as the top team overall. Montana State finished the year winners of four the last five games played including three in a row following a two point win over Northern Colorado. Offensively Montana State shot the ball well making 50% of their shots to score 87 points including 49 in the second half to erase a one point halftime deficit.

Xavier Bishop leads all scorers for Montana State averaging 13.7 points per game to go along with a team high 4.3 assists. Jubrille Belo chips in a second best 13.5 points per game and a team high 7 rebounds.
