The Purdue Boilermakers visit Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Wednesday to play the Marquette Golden Eagles. Marquette jumped out to a 44-15 first half lead and never looked back. Howard was 7-for-10 from 3-point territory and hit 9-of-10 from the charity stripe. Koby McEwen scored 11 points and Sacar Anim chipped in with 11.

Jahaad Proctor leads Purdue in scoring with an average of 19.0 points per game. Aaron Wheeler is the leading rebounder with an average of 8.0 per game. Nogel Eastern leads the Boilermakers in assists with an average of 3.5 per game. Four players for Purdue are averaging double figures in scoring.

Markus Howard leads Marquette in scoring with an average of 38.0 points per game. The leading rebounder for the Golden Eagles is Theo John with an average of 8.0 per game. Sacar Anim is the second leading scorer and the leader in assists with averages of 11.0 points and 4.0 assists per game.

Marquette’s Markus Howard scored 38 in the opening game and will be tough to control in this matchup with Purdue. The Boilermakers are ranked in the top 25, but have not looked strong in going 1-1 to open the season.
