Portland State at Oregon State 11/9/21 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

Portland State is looking like a team that has a lot of potential to pull off some upsets this year. The Vikings finished last year with a record of 9-13, which is not that impressive. However, what the Vikings did in the offseason is what is nice and should have a lot of teams worried.

In the offseason the Portland State team took full advantage of transfers. The Vikings were able to get a total of 6 new players, which is not that impressive. However, the part that is impressive is the fact that the Vikings were able to get 4 out of those 6 players from teams that the players helped guide to get over double digits in the scoring.

The Beavers are coming here in what will most likely be a rebuilding season. Last year the Beavers finished with a record of 20-13 overall. Now, the Beavers are coming in with hte loss of Ethan Thompson who was able to get 15.7 points per game for Oregon State.

Now, one thing that could be a disaster for the Beavers on the year is the fact that the 3 starters the Beavers bring back scored a combined 26 points per game. The bigger player for the star power is Jarod Lucas who managed to get 12.7 points per game.
