Portland has been one team that looked fairly impressive in their overall play, but come conference play the Pilots have quickly faded. Portland on the year has a 1-5 record in the WCC, but when playing overall basketball the Pilots have posted a 9-12 record on the year. The last game on the court for Portland ended up being a 77-65 loss to Loyola Marymount.

The offense for Portland has not been that great on the year with only 68.1 points a game being scored. The defense for Portland has been somewhat impressive on the season giving up only 69 points a game. However, the rebounding leaves a lot to be desired with only 32.7 boards per game, but the Pilots have managed to get 14 assist a game.

Pepperdine is coming into the game here after knocking off the Santa Clara team in what many consider to be a major upset. The Waves with that win have improved to 3-3 on the year in the WCC, but when it comes to the overall playing on the season the Waves have a 10-10 record this season.

This year the Waves have put in a total of 76.9 points a game on the year. The Waves have allowed a total of 77.2 points a game to be scored. The rebounding is kind of on the shabby side with only 33.6 boards a game, but the Pepperdine team has managed to get 14.9 assist a game.

This year the Waves have won some games, but the wins for the Waves have mainly come s upset specials. The Pilots are struggling on the year and those struggles will continue in this game on the road. Look for the Waves to bring home the win in the game here and that will help lock down their position even more in the WCC, but also help push Portland even lower. Final Score Prediction, Pepperdine Waves win but fall short ATS 75-70.
