The No. 16 ranked Penn State Nittany Lions visit Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa for a Big Ten showdown on Saturday against the No. 18 ranked Iowa Hawkeyes. Penn State improved to 2-17 overall and 11-6 in the Big Ten following its 65-64 victory on Wednesday over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Penn State is tied for second in the Big Ten two games behind first place Maryland.

Lamar Stevens is the leading scorer for Penn State with an average of 17.6 points per game, while Mike Watkins is the leading rebounder with an average of 7.7 rebounds per game and Jamari Wheeler is the leader in assists with an average of 3.1 per game. Penn State has just two players averaging double-figures in scoring.

Iowa dropped to 19-9 overall and 10-7 in the Big Ten following it's 78-70 loss to the Michigan State Spartans on Tuesday. With the loss, Iowa fell from second place in the Big Ten to sixth place. Luka Garza led the Hawkeyes in the loss with 20 points, while Ryan Greiner scored 18 but fouled out late in the game. 

Luka Garza is the leading scorer and rebounder for Iowa with averages of 23.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, while Connor McCaffrey is the leader in assists with an average of 3.9 per game. Joe Weiskamp is the second-leading scorer with an average of 14.5 points per game in one of just three plays for Iowa averaging double figures in scoring.

Iowa is coming off a tough loss to the Michigan State Spartans, but the Hawkeyes have been very tough at home the entire season.
