In Thursday night college basketball action, the Pacfic Tigers will travel to University Credit Union Pavilion to face the Saint Mary’s Gaels. The Tigers (8-7) have won consecutive games and are scoring 70.5 points per contest. On Tuesday, Pacific outscored San Diego by 19 points during the second half to rally for a 77-67 road victory.

The Saint Mary’s Gaels have been one of the best teams in the West Coast Conference over the last decade, but have dropped five of their first eight conference games. On Monday, Saint Mary’s made the plays down the stretch of a 66-61 home victory versus Pepperdine. The Gaels (12-7) outrebounded the Waves by a 39-28 margin and nailed 13 of their 15 free throws.

Saint Mary’s G Logan Johnson tallied a team-high 19 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Dan Fotu added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Gaels.
