The Oklahoma Sooners will be placed as the #10 seed and will take on the #7 seed the Rhode Island Rams. The Sooners were on the bubble and found a spot in the big dance after finishing the season playing shaky and not confident basketball. Oklahoma has won just two of their last ten games heading into this game against the Rams.

All eyes will be on Trey Young and how he leads this Sooner team in a big game. Oklahoma may have one of the hardest schedules in the country but that should of prepared them for this match up against a tough Rhode Island team. The Sooners only won two games as a road team this season. The Rhode Island Rams lost in the A10 finals to Davidson allowing the Wildcats to dance this season. The Rams finished the regular season with a 25-6 record, #25 in the nation, and the top team heading into the A10 tourney. Rhode Island lost to Davidson twice with ten days.

The Rams will need a solid offensive game from Grady and Aldridge to keep up with Trey Young's scoring frenzies. Rhode Island is 7-9 in tournament play and are very much alive in the first round this season. The Rams made the big dance last season but not since 1999 before that.
