Oklahoma at Kansas State 1/29/20 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The Oklahoma Sooners visit Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas on Wednesday for a Big 12 tilt with the Kansas State Wildcats. The Sooners improved to 13-6 overall and 3-3 in the Big 12 following their 63-62 victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Saturday. Brady Manek led the Sooners with 18 points.

Brady Manek is the leading scorer for Oklahoma with an average of 15.7 points per game, while Kristian Doolittle is the second leading scorer and leading rebounder with averages of 15.4 points and 8.6 points per game. Jamal Bieniemy is the leader in assists with an average of 2.9 per game. 

Kansas State fell to 8-11 overall following its 77-74 loss to Alabama on Saturday as part of the Big 12/SEC challenge. The Wildcats led by one point at the half, but allowed 22 offensive rebounds to the Crimson Tide resulting in second chance points that caused their downfall. Cartier Diarra led K-State in the loss with 17 points. 

Xavier Sneed is the leading scorer for Kansas State with an average of 14.7 points per game, while Makol Mawien is the third leading scorer and leading rebounder with averages of 7.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Cartier Diarra is the second leading scorer and the leader in assists with averages of 13.2 points and 5.1 assists per game.

Both Oklahoma and K-State are having less-than-stellar seasons, but Oklahoma defeated Kansas State 66-61 on January 4. The Sooners have covered the number in two of their last three that included covers versus TCU and Baylor. Kansas State has failed to cover four of its last six overall.
