The 19th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes are on the road for a Big Ten clash with the Michigan State Spartans.  The Buckeyes are (21-9), coming off a 71-63 win over Illinois.  The Spartans are (21-9), after upending Penn State on the road, 79-71. 

In the Buckeyes win over Illinois, Ohio State was guided throughout the game by E.J. Liddell.  Liddell secured a double-double, recording 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Ohio State connected on 39% from the floor and 20% from deep.  The Buckeyes won the game from the charity stripe, out scoring Illinois 24 to 9.  Ohio State allowed Illinois to shoot 44% from the floor.  The Buckeyes out rebounded Illinois, 38 to 31.  Ohio State trailed 37-30 at the half.

Kaleb Wesson is averaging 14.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2 assists for the Buckeyes this season.  Duane Washington Jr. is contributing 11.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest.  Ohio State is collecting 72.2 points, while connecting on 37.4% from 3-point range on the year. 

In the Spartans win over Penn State, Michigan State was led offensively by Xavier Tillman.  Tillman recorded a double-double, totaling 23 points and 15 rebounds.  The Spartans shot 53% from the floor and 26% from distance.  Michigan State out rebounded Penn State, 43 to 35.  The Spartans had an abysmal 1st half, trailing 46-31.  However, Michigan State out scored Penn State by 23 points in the 2nd half, allowing just 25 2nd half points.   

Cassius Winston is averaging 18.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game for the Spartans.  Tillman is registering 13.7 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.  Michigan State is recording 75.8 points, while converting on 46% from the floor to this point.
