The Sunday college basketball schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan State Spartans from the Breslin Center. The Buckeyes are a game below .500 in Big Ten Conference play and have won 16 games overall. On Thursday, Ohio State was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 63-56 home loss versus Illinois. The Buckeyes turned the ball over 18 times and missed 11 of their 13 three-point attempts.

C.J. Jackson converted eight of his 11 free-throw attempts and finished with a game high 17 points. Kaleb Wesson added 11 points and five rebounds in a losing effort for the Buckeyes. The 11th ranked Michigan State Spartans have won 20 games and are currently a half-game behind Michigan for the top spot in the conference. On Tuesday, Michigan State limited Wisconsin to just 21 points during the second half of a 67-59 road victory. The Spartans outrebounded the Badgers by a 40-28 margin and shot 44 percent from the field.

Michigan State G Cassius Winston led all scorers with 23 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists. Kenny Goins chipped in 12 points and nine rebounds for the Spartans.
