The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks visit War Memorial Gymnasium in San Francisco, California on Wednesday to play the San Francisco Dons. The Lumberjacks fell to 2-6 on the season following a 79-74 loss on Saturday to the San Jose State Spartans. The loss was the fifth straight for Northern Arizona. Jonathan Andre led the Lumberjacks in the loss with 21 points.
San Francisco improved to an impressive 10-1 on the season after defeating Cal State Fullerton on Sunday 68-54. Frankie Farrari led the Dons in the win with 16 points. The win was the third straight for the Dons since losing their first and only game of the season thus far.
Carlos Hines leads Northern Arizona in scoring with an average of 14.1 points per game. Bernie Andre is the second leading scorer and leader in rebounds with averages of 13.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Cameron Shelton leads the team in assists with an average of 3.0 per game. The Lumberjacks are shooting 43.4% from the field and 33.5% from 3-point territory.
Charles Minlend leads the Dons in scoring with an average of 14.4 points per game. Matt McCarthy is the leader in rebounds with an average of 7.5 per game. Frankie Ferrari is the team leader in assists with an average of 6.3 per game. San Francisco is shooting 49.5% from the field and 34.7% from 3-point territory.
