Defensively Delaware stifled Towson holding the Tigers 31% shooting from the floor and 17.4% beyond the arc and forced 13 turnovers leading to the victory.
Kevin Anderson carried the Delaware offense scoring a team high 17 points on 4/10 shooting in 36 minutes on the floor. Juare Davis punched in a second best 14 points in 23 minutes and Jameer Nelson Jr. scored 11 points as the third starter in double figures. Dylan Painter added a team high 12 points in 23 minutes off the bench.
The UNC Wilmington Seahawks are riding a five game win streak heading into the championship game following a 3 point win over Charleston in semifinals. The UNC Wilmington defense was the difference in the semis holding Charleston a 38.3% shooting and forced 16 turnovers to pick up the win.
