North Carolina vs Baylor 3/19/22 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

Round two of the NCAA tournament kicks off Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth, TX as the North Carolina Tar Heels take on the Baylor Bears. North Carolina comes into round two riding high as of late after winning seven of the last eight games played including a 32 point blowout win of Marquette in round one. Puff Johnson added eleven points to lead the way off the bench.

The Baylor Bears come into round two as the number one seed in their bracket following a blowout win of Norfolk State in round one. Baylor beat Norfolk State 85-49 after shooting 57.4% from the floor and 40.7% from beyond the arc. Matt Mayer led all scorers for Baylor with 22 points in 27 minutes on the floor.

Baylor has been a strong offensive team this year averaging 76.8 points per game on 46.7% shooting. LJ Cryer leads Baylor as one of three players averaging double figures scoring 13.5 points per game on 47.6% shooting. Adam Flagler is second on the team scoring 13.3 points to go along with a team high 5.8 assists.
