The Lobos are off to an 0-7 start in Mountain West Conference play and are allowing 72.8 points. On Saturday, New Mexico shot a woeful 33 percent from the field during a 77-54 road loss against UNLV.

The UNLV Rebels have dropped six of their first nine games overall and have lost starting PG Marvin Coleman (leg) for the remainder of the season.
