The Nebraska Cornhuskers are set to travel to the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania for a Big Ten clash against the Penn State Nittany Lions. Nebraska is currently sitting at 5-10 in conference play, but they have been much better as of recent as they are in the midst of a 2-game win streak after beating Northwestern at home on Saturday, 59-50. Isaiah Roby had a monster game for the Cornhuskers as he was able to record 19 points and 16 rebounds while contributing 5 blocks and 2 steals on the defensive end of the court. James Palmer Jr. was once again solid as he was able to pitch in 13 points and 6 assists.

Penn State sits at the bottom of the Big Ten with a 2-12 record, and they will be looking to avoid a losing streak after dropping their latest game on the road to the Purdue Boilermakers, 76-64. Lamar Stevens was able to have a productive game as he recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds, but he was turnover prone as he committed 8. Rasir Bolton had a good game off the bench for the Nittany Lions as he was able to record 17 points as he connected on 3 of his 5 three-point attempts.
James Palmer Jr. is the leading scorer and assists guy for the Nebraska Cornhuskers as the senior guard is averaging 18.8 PPG and 3.2 APG. Isaiah Roby is the leading rebounder for Tim Miles and company as he is averaging 7.2 RPG, and he is also one of the best defenders in the conference as he is averaging 1.8 blocks per game and 1.4 steals per game. Nebraska is shooting 42.9% from the field this season while connecting on 33.8% of their 3-point attempts.

Lamar Stevens is the leading scorer and rebounder for the Penn State Nittany Lions as the junior forward is averaging just shy of a double-double with 19.2 PPG and 8 RPG. Senior guard Josh Reaves scoring is slightly down from a year ago (10 PPG), but he has been the top facilitator for Pat Chambers as he is averaging 3.1 APG. Penn State is shooting 40.9% from the field this season while connecting on 31.2% of their 3-point attempts.

Penn State has been much better as of late as they have beaten a top 10 team in Michigan as well as have played multiple close games vs. the rest of the Big Ten. Nebraska is struggling to find wins without their one of their top forwards as Copeland Jr. is done for the season, and it won’t get much better on the road where they are 2-6 SU. Final Score Prediction, Penn State Nittany Lions win and cover ATS 75-70.
