NCAA Basketball 2021 Championship Odds and Predictions

The NCAA basketball tournament may have been cancelled this year, but now the odds are out for who will be the champion next season. The good news is the season does look like it could go on with the regular schedule with the proper social distancing being in place. Now, what is interesting is the way the teams are ranked in the way the teams pretty much finished this past year.

There are a couple of front runner teams for the championship game next season are among the top finishing teams last year. Baylor and Gonzaga are the teams that are running ahead for the favored teams for next year. With the number of players coming back it allows the teams to definitely have a heavily favored teams to win the championship next year.

The next couple of teams that are favored had to come surging back from behind this year. That is Virginia and Creighton.. Both of these teams had just hit their stride when the season ended up being canceled. Now, Creighton and Virginia both have to start building again for next year and hoping that they do not lose the momentum that the teams had just started getting built up.

A couple of teams that have had some good runs lately, but most likely have reached their plateau is San Diego State and Dayton. Both of these teams had a great chance of winning the championship this past season, but the coronavirus changed that. Now, these two teams are still counted towards having a chance of winning the title, but with these two teams the chance is past them now as the talent loss for the teams is gone.
