The Navy Midshipmen visit the Colgate Raiders on Wednesday to play the Championship Game of the Patriot League at Cotterell Court in Hamilton, New York. Navy defeated Boston University in overtime 85-80 in it's semifinal matchup on Sunday. John Carter Jr and Greg Summers each scored 21 points to lead Navy to the victory. Navy has won three of the last four.
John Carter Jr is leading Navy in scoring with an average of 13.4 points per game, while Greg Summers is the second-leading scorer, leading rebounder and leader in assists with averages of 8.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Navy is scoring an average of 65.2 points per game, while shooting 43.2% overall and 32.8% from 3-point territory.
Colgate defeated Lehigh 81-61 in its semifinal matchup on Saturday. Tucker Richardson was the leading scorer for Colgate with 16 points, while Jeff Woodard scored 11 points for the Raiders. Colgate has won each of its last 14 and has not been defeated since falling to Boston University 76-72 on January 28. The Raiders won the Patriot league regular-season title at 16-2.
Nelly Cummings is leading Colgate in scoring with an average of 14.5 points per game, while Tucker Richardson is the second leading scorer and the leader in assists with averages of 12.6 points and 3.8 assists per game. Keegan Records is the leading rebounder with an average of 6.3 rebounds per game.
