Missouri State at Loyola Chicago 1/22/22 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

Off to an outstanding 14-6 start, the Missouri State Bears hit the Windy City to face a ranked Loyola Chicago team. After finishing 17-6 last season, the Bears are hungry for a postseason bid this year. An upset over Loyola would go a long way in accomplishing that goal.

Isiaih Mosley has quietly put up outstanding numbers for the Bears. Mosley is averaging 20.3 points per game and is also pulling down 5.3 rebounds per contest. Gaige Prim is an additional player to watch for the Bears and is averaging 13.9 points per game and a team high 8.2 rebounds per contest.

No Porter Moser, no problem, as the Loyola Chicago Ramblers have stormed out to a 14-2 record and a #22 ranking without their former Head Coach who is now at Oklahoma. The Ramblers face a tough test when they play host to the Missouri State Bears.

Lucas Williamson is the leading scorer for the Ramblers and is averaging 12.5 points per game. Ryan Schwieger also puts up double figures for the Ramblers and puts in 10.8 points per contest. The Ramblers are an exceptionally well balanced team and have 8 players averaging at least 15 minutes per contest. This depth will serve the Ramblers well as they try and make another deep postseason run.

The Ramblers have been a very difficult team to stop on the season so far. The Loyola Chicago team has moved up into the top 25 and are simply improving each game. What is even better is it is an overall team effort form the Ramblers, unlike Missouri State that relies on Isiaih Mosley who has done most of the production for the Bears. Final Score Prediction, Loyola Chicago Ramblers win 72-65.
