The No. 24 ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs visit Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday to play the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Bulldogs improved to 13-3 on the season with a 71-68 win over Florida on Tuesday. Mississippi State’s Quinndary Weatherspoon converted a three-point play with just 3.4 seconds remaining to give the Bulldogs the win.
Vanderbilt fell to 9-7 on the season following its 74-71 loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Commodores squandered a 12-point second half lead in the loss. Vanderbilt dropped to 0-4 in SEC play for the first time since the basketball program began.

Aric Holman leads the team in rebounds with an average of 8.0 per game, while Lamar Peters is the leader in assists with an average of 6.1 per game.
