Tom Izzo has another talented squad on his hands again this season. The good news for the Spartans fans is the Michigan State squad has ended up getting a lot of the talent that was needed to reproduce what a lot of fans would have to go back almost 15 years to recall the last time the Spartans had this much talent on the roster.

One talent the Spartans do have coming into the team this year is freshman Rocket Watts. Watts should be a great shooter for the team and then the Spartans have a great backup in Foster Loyer. Throw in Julius Marble and it is easy to see the Spartans have a young group of players who should be able to lead the Spartans for quite a while.

Kentucky is a powerhouse team that has seemingly had a lot of turnover, but the Wildcats almost always seems to rebuild on the year. The Wildcats are a team that would like to be able to come into the game here and really showcase the talent the roster has and with a big time game like this it is very possible to do that.

The Wildcats are bringing back only a single senior on the year. Nate Sestina is the only senior and the Wildcat have Nick Richards coming back as the only junior on the team. However, this year the Wildcats have Ashton Hagans and Immanuel Quickley back as a sophomore who are both former 5 star recruits. Hagans actually comes back with 7.7 points a game and 4.3 assist a game as the returning leader for the Wildcats.

Kentucky is heading into the game here with a decent number of recruits, but also a lot of talent. The only downside is most of the talent group for the Wildcats is younger and could have a lot of problems in this game the Spartans are younger, but still have a core group of upper classmen who can control the game rather easily. Final Score Prediction, Michigan State Spartans win and cover 75-70.
