The Miami Hurricanes will take on the Duke Blue Devils Friday night in the Barclays Center in the ACC tournament semifinals. Miami comes into the semifinals running hot currently on a 3 game win streak after a buzzer beater win Thursday afternoon. Miami squeaked by Boston College 71-69 after shooting 53.6% from the floor including the game winning buzzer beater in overtime.
Kameron McGusty led the way for the Miami offense with 16 points in 43 minutes on the floor. Charlie Moore scored 15 points to go along with a team high 6 assists and Isaiah Wong chipped in 14 points and six rebounds in 42 minutes.
The Duke Blue Devils come into the conference semifinals ranked number seven in the nation following their win on Thursday afternoon. Offensively Duke controlled the game making 47.8% of their shots and 34.4% from beyond the arc to score 88 points in the game including 52 in the second half to be race a four point halftime deficit.
Offensively this season Duke has averaged 80.4 points per game on 48.9% shooting from the floor. Paolo Banchero leads the Blue Devils offense with 17.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Wendell Moore Jr. adds a second best 13.1 points and big man Mark Williams chips in 11 points on 71.5% shooting.
