Memphis vs UCF 3/15/19 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The Memphis Tigers will play the UCF Knights in an American Athletic Conference tournament tilt on Friday at FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee. The Tigers defeated the Tulane Green Wave 83-68 on Thursday to move on to the second round of the AAC tourney. Jeremiah Martin led the Tigers with 21 points.

UCF finished the season 23-7 overall and 13-5 in AAC play following its 67-62 loss to Temple in the regular season finale. The Knights finished third in the AAC and drew a bye in the first round of the AAC tournament. Aubrey Dawkins led UCF in the loss to Temple with 36 points and 11 rebounds. No other UCF scored in double-figures against the Owls.
Jeremiah Martin is the leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 19.7 points and 4.5 assists per game. Kyvon Davenport is the second leading scorer and leader in rebounder for Memphis with averages of 13.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Memphis is shooting 45.9% from the field and 32.8% from 3-point territory.

B.J. Taylor leads Central Florida in scoring with an average of 16.2 points per game. Tacko Fall leads the team in rebounds with an average of 7.2 per game. Terrell Allen leads the Knights in assists with an average of 4.3 per game. UCF is shooting 46.7% from the field and 35.6% from 3-point territory.

The two split the season series 1-1 SU and ATS, but UCF is playing much better ending the season going 7-2 SU and 8-1 ATS over the final 9 games of the regular season. Included in those nine games was a UCF 79-72 win and cover over Memphis. The game is like a home game for Memphis but UCF beat the Tigers at home on February 16.
