The Manhattan Jaspers visit Koessler Athletic Center in Buffalo, New York on Friday to pay the Canisius Golden Griffins. The Jaspers fell to 4-5 following a 63-51 loss to Hofstra on Sunday. Manhattan fell behind by 12 at the half and could not battle back. Tykei Green led the Jaspers in the loss with 25 points. Green sank each of his five 3-pointers. Pauly Paulicap chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds.

Canisius fell to 5-7 overall following its 87-79 loss to Pittsburgh on Monday. Majesty Brandon led the Golden Griffins with 20 points and Jalanni Whitee added 14 points and nine rebounds. Brandon does not start for Canisius but has scored 64 points in the last three games to become a big threat for the Golden Griffins off the bench. Canisius was 0-3 on its just completed road trip.

Malik Johnson leads the Golden Griffins in several statistical categories. The guard is leading in scoring with an average of 13.8 points per game, in rebounds with an average of 5.1 per game and in assists with an average of 5.7 per game. Majesty Brandon is the second leading scorer with an average of 13.3 points per game.
