The LSU Tigers are set to visit Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for a SEC clash against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The LSU Tigers come into this matchup with a 11-5 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 76-71. Leading the way for the LSU Tigers was junior guard Ja’vonte Smart as he recorded 29 points. Joining Smart in the backcourt was freshman guard Cameron Thomas who had a productive outing for the Tigers with 25 points.

The LSU Tigers had a solid shooting game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders as they connected on 25 of their 58 field goal attempts (43.1%), but they were slightly worse from behind the three-point line (39.1%). The LSU Tigers won the turnover battle against the Texas Tech Red Raiders (13-12), but they were dominated by the Red Raiders in the rebounding department (41-29).

The Alabama Crimson Tide come into this matchup with a 14-4 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Oklahoma Sooners, 66-61. Leading the way for the Alabama Crimson Tide was senior forward Alex Reese as he recorded 15 points and 5 rebounds. Sophomore guard Jaden Shackelford had a productive outing for the Crimson Tide as he pitched in 14 points.

The Alabama Crimson Tide struggled shooting the ball against the Oklahoma Sooners as they connected on 21 of their 54 field goal attempts (38.9%), and they were slightly worse from behind the three-point line (35.7%). The Alabama Crimson Tide lost the turnover battle against the Oklahoma Sooners (16-14), and they were edged out by the Sooners in the rebounding department (42-34).

The Alabama Crimson Tide were finally taken off their hot streak with a road loss against a very good Oklahoma squad, and they should have no problem rebounding against and LSU team that has really struggled to find an identity as of recent. While Alabama won’t hit 23 three-pointers like they did in the first game, they are still very talented on the offensive attack as they are averaging 79.9 PPG and they have a handful of guys who can score the basketball with 4 different guys averaging over 11 PPG. The LSU Tigers gave up a 7-point lead in the final minute of their recent clash against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and that is a testament to their terrible defense. Final Score Prediction, Alabama Crimson Tide win and cover ATS 78-66.
