The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers visit JQH Arena in Springfield, Missouri on Wednesday to play the Missouri State Tigers. The Ramblers improved to 12-7 on the season following a 75-67 win on the road against Indiana State. Cameron Krutwig led the Ramblers with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Marques Townes scored 16 as well.
Missouri State dropped to 8-11 on the season following its 74-63 loss to Drake on Sunday. Missouri State was led by Darrel Dixon with 15 points, while Tulio Da Silva scored 12 and Keandre Cook added 11. Missouri State was only down by five points with 15 minutes to play, but were outscored 14-5 over the next four minutes and never recovered.
Marques Townes is the leader in scoring and assists with averages of 14.2 points and 3.6 assists per game. Cameron Krutwig is the third leading scorer and leading rebounder with averages of 13.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Loyola-Chicago is shooting 49.7% from the field and 34.4% from 3-point territory.
Tulio Da Silva leads Missouri State in scoring and rebounding with averages of 15.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Two other players for the Bears are averaging double figures in scoring.
