The Little Rock Trojans play the Duquesne Dukes on Monday at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Little Rock is 1-1 following its 77-70 loss to UNC Greensboro on Saturday. The Trojans opened their regular season with a 71-66 victory over Prairie View A&M on Wednesday. In the loss to UNC Greensboro, Little Rock was led by Nikola Maric with 21 points. The forward hit each of his nine field goals and sank three of four from the free throw line.

Nicola Maric is the leading scorer for Little Rock with an average of 19.0 points per game. The leading rebounder in Ruot Monyyong with an average of 6.5 per game, while Markquis Nowell is the leader in assists with an average of 5.5 per game. Four players for Little Rock are averaging double-figures in scoring. As a team, the Trojans are shooting 46.5% overall from the floor and 32.1% from 3-point territory.

Duquesne will open its regular season on Monday against Little Rock. The Dukes were 21-9 overall and 11-7 in the Atlantic 10 Conference last season. Duquesne will have each of its five starters back from last year and three of its top four scores return including leading scorer Marcus Weathers, who averaged 14.3 points per game and second leading scorer Sincere Carry, who averaged 12.2 points per game. In all, eight players from last season return.

In addition to the returnees, Duquesne has one transfer, Noah Buono, who played last season at Ramapo College as well as eight freshmen. The Dukes are expected to compete for the Atlantic 10 title thanks to having four players returning that averaged double figures in scoring last season. Although Duquesne has several players returning from its roster last season, the Dukes lack depth as coach Keith Dambrot used a six-man rotation and several of the players returning did not see much action on a regular basis in 2019-20.

Duquesne will defeat Little Rock on Monday, but the play here is OVER. The Dukes last season scored an average of 71.5 points per game and allowed an average of 66.4 points per game and have the majority of the same players returning. The OVER has cashed in four of Duquesne’s last five, while the OVER has cashed and 12 of Little Rock's last 13, including its most recent outing against UNC Greensboro. Final Score Prediction, Duquesne Dukes win but our best play is OVER 83-76
