The La Salle Explorers hit the road for a clash with the Saint Louis Billikens.  The Explorers are (11-12), after being routed at home by Richmond, 74-47.  The Billikens are (17-7), coming off a 71-65 road loss at Dayton.

In the Explorers loss to Richmond, La Salle was guided throughout the game by Ed Croswell.  Croswell recorded 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists.  The Explores connected on 30% from the floor and 29% from distance.  La Salle was dominated on the boards, being out rebounded 47 to 29.  The Explorers were poor on defense, allowing Richmond to shoot 48% from the floor.

Isiah Deas is averaging 10.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, to lead the way for La Salle.  David Beatty and Ed Croswell are both averaging over 10 points, while Croswell is pulling down 7.8 rebounds per contest.

In the Billikens loss to Dayton, Saint Louis was led on offense by Jordan Goodwin.  Goodwin collected 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.  The Billikens shot 49% from the floor and 46% from deep.  Saint Louis lost by 6 points, which is exactly how many points the Billikens left off the board from the charity stripe.  Saint Louis converted on just 62% of their foul shots.  The Billikens had 13 turnovers in the loss.

Saint Louis has been guided this season by Goodwin.  Goodwin is totaling a double-double on average, collecting over 15 points and 10 rebounds per game.  Hasahn French is also adding a double-double per game, recording 12.3 points and 10.8 rebounds.  Javonte Perkins is contributing 13.3 points per contest.

These two teams last met on January 29th, a road game that Saint Louis escaped with a 77-76 win.  The Billikens have the more talented team, it has been the foul shooting that has lost Saint Louis games this season.  The Billikens rank 353rd in foul shooting, and Saint Louis has not been able to hide it.  the Billikens get to the charity stripe quite often. Saint Louis commits their fair share of fouls on defense.  However, La Salle is is nearly just as bad as Saint Louis from the line when on the road.  The Explorers rank 333rd in foul shooting on the road.  Saint Louis will get the job done here, but with both teams being terrible from the foul line, I'll side with the under.  Each team should leave points off the board in bulk.  Final score prediction, Saint Louis will win and the total goes under, 69-61.
