Kentucky at Arkansas 1/18/20 - College Basketball Picks & Predictions

On Saturday, the No. 10 ranked Kentucky Wildcats visit Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville Arkansas for an SEC matchup with the Arkansas Razorbacks. Kentucky fell to 12-4 overall and 3-1 in the SEC following its 81-74 loss on Wednesday to the South Carolina Gamecocks. Kentucky tied the game at 78-all  with just 4.1 seconds left but a long shot from the left side of the court by South Carolina bounced off the backboard and went through the net to give the Gamecocks the stunning upset victory over the Wildcats. 

Tyrese Maxey leads Kentucky in scoring with an average of 13.9 points per game. Nick Richards is the third leading scorer and leading rebounder with averages of 13.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game,  while Ashton Hagans is the fourth leading scorer and leader in assists with averages of 13.1 points and 7.3 assists per game.

Arkansas improved to 14-2 overall and 3-1 in the SEC following its 75-55 win on Wednesday over Vanderbilt. Jimmy Whitt Jr. led the Razorbacks with a career-high 30 points. Isaiah Joe, who did not score in the first half, hit two consecutive 3-pointers to increase the Razorbacks lead to 10 points in the second half that sparked an 8-0 run that put the game out of reach. 

Mason Jones leads Arkansas in scoring, rebounding and assists with averages of 18.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Isaiah Joe is the second-leading scorer with an average of 17.8 points per game while Jimmy Whitt Jr. is the third leading scorer with an average of 14.8 points per game.
