The Kentucky Wildcats visit Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Tuesday to play the No. 18 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Kentucky improved to 5-9 overall in 4-3 in the SEC following its 82-69 victory over the LSU Tigers on Saturday. Keion Brooks Jr scored 15 points including 13 during the first half, while Brandon Boston Jr. scored 18 points and 13 during the second half to help lead the Wildcats to the victory.

Brandon Boston Jr. is leading Kentucky in scoring with an average of 12.4 points per game, while Isaiah Jackson is the leading rebounder with an average of 7 points per game and Devin Askew is the leader in assists with an average of 2.9 per game. Kentucky has four players averaging double-figures in scoring and as a team the Wildcats are shooting 41.9% over and 28.2% from 3-point territory.

Alabama improved to 13-3 overall and 8-0 in the SEC following its 81-73 victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday. Herbert Jones was the leading scorer for Alabama with 17 points and handed out seven assists. Alabama has won nine straight and included in that winning streak is an 85-65 victory on the road against the Kentucky Wildcats in the first meeting between the two.

John Petty Jr. is leading Alabama in scoring with an average of 14.1 points per game, while Herbert Jones is the leading rebounder with an average of 5.7 per game and Jahvon Quinerly is the leader in assists with an average of 3.4 per game. Alabama has four players averaging double-figures in scoring and the Crimson Tide is shooting 43.9% overall and 36.2% from 3-point territory.

Alabama is playing excellent basketball at the moment going 9-0 straight up and 7-2 against the spread in its last nine. However, Alabama will be playing Kentucky for the second time this season and after defeating the Wildcats the first time, will face a difficult challenge as Kentucky is coming off an upset victory over the LSU Tigers on Saturday.
