The Kent State Golden Flashes roll into town with a 3-1 record and fresh off a close win over Niagara. Kent State sure has passed the eye test this season. Voncameron Davis has been an electric guard, averaging 17.3 points per game and averaging 2.5 rebounds as well. In the paint, Kent State relies on Cli’Ron Hornbeak, who has been a force averaging 7.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this season. Kent State looks to be a force in the MAC, and have only suffered their one defeat at the hands of a good Auburn Tigers team.

The Cleveland State Vikings have had an up-and-down start at 3-3. In their last game. CSU was bested in a low scoring affair against Minnesota. CSU’s best scorer is Tevin Smith, who puts up 11.5 points per game. A player to watch is Forward Dylan Arnett, who has come on lately, now averaging 11.5 points to go with 7.8 rebounds down low. CSU showed great defense against a Big Ten opponent, but their offense has yet to come alive this year.
